Lynn Teachworth Strategies to address Neck Pain using Structural Dynamics & The Avazzia Microcurrent Technology
An educational 1 on 1 zoom session with Lynn Teachworth covering:
Very often our clients come to us with neck pathologies. This can be stiffness, poor range of motion, pain and even headaches. The Avazzia units really shine in helping to resolve many of these issues. Lynn will spend an hour teaching you several of his favorite and most effective techniques for working with cervical issues.
The cervical spine is the most flexible aspect of the spine and often where people end up feeling pain and restrictions from restricted function elsewhere (such as the lower leg, hip flexors, or thoracic spine for example.) This 1 on 1 session will walk through the Structural Dynamics approach to focus on the dynamics of the cervical spine. Both highly mobile, the shoulder girdle and cervical spine can compensate for restriction and poor function elsewhere in the body, often leading to strain injuries or chronic tension patterns. Understand the structural and functional dynamics of each vertebrae in the cervical spine, as well as between the rest of the body in order to release tension and restore function. Learn to work neck issues through a functional and structural lens to relieve pain and improve motion.
Lynn has been a licensed massage therapist for over 25 years. His clients include over 2000 professional athletes in the PGA, LPGA, NBA, NFL, MLB as well as many other sports including professional wake boarding and water skiing. He is also a 2018 inductee into the World Massage Federations Hall of Fame.
Lynn specializes in pain, sports injuries, and sports performance. He has certifications in Structural Integration, Myofascial Release, Source Point Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Cranial-Sacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and Body Talk. Lynn is also a Gift Fellow through the Gray institute, the most advanced training in functional movement and bio-mechanics available. A former BodyTalk instructor, he is well-versed in the scientific basis of energy medicine and integrates this into his practice as well. We also use Microcurrent Therapy when needed, to help remove scar tissue and inflammation quickly and painlessly.
